MEET YOUR RUSSIAN TEACHER
Привет! Меня зовут Валентина. My name is Valentina, and I teach Russian. I’m a native of Moscow, but I’ve been living in the States since 2005. I have my MA in Philology from Lomonosov Moscow State University, where I specialized in Russian Language & Literature.
It’s been a pleasure teaching Russian for more than 20 years. My teaching experience started at Lomonosov M S University and has continued at the University of Lapland and at major language schools in the US and UK. I’ve been teaching both online and in person, individually and in groups. I love learning new languages, and at different times of my life I have explored Greek, Latin, Mandarin Chinese & Tibetan.
I believe that learning languages is very meaningful, as it helps connect different parts of the world and invites people to understand each other’s ways, thoughts & cultures better. In this way languages are a major part of working toward humanity’s ultimate dream of Peace & Harmony on Earth. In my free time I love to study Buddhist philosophy, to meditate, hike, read and watch thought-provoking films. If you’re interested in learning Russian, I look forward to meeting you! Скоро увидимся!
