LEARN JAPANESE IN SMALL GROUP ONLINE CLASSES
Small Group Online Japanese classes are only $199 for ten weeks of hour-long lessons. They’re relaxed and laid back, and with only three to five students per group, you’re guaranteed to get plenty of personal attention. Our online Japanese classes are a great way to learn Japanese.

MEET YOUR JAPANESE INSTRUCTOR
こんにちは！ すぎた先生です！ Kon’nichiwa! Sugita sensei desu! Hello! I’m Sugita-sensei. I live in Tokyo, but I lived in New York for many years. I have a Ph.D in linguistics from the City University of New York, and I taught Japanese and linguistics at Queens College in New York for 20 years. I’ve authored Japanese textbooks published by Living Language/Random House, and I’ve served on an advisory committee for language proficiency assessment at the U.S. Defense Language Institute.
I love sharing my language with people. I’ve taught hundreds of students, and I’ve also studied several languages myself, so I really understand the challenges and obstacles that language students face as they work to achieve their goals.
Whether you’re a beginner with no background in Japanese at all, or you’re an intermediate or advanced student working toward fluency, I’d love to help you.
