Привет! Меня зовут Валентина. My name is Valentina, and I teach Russian. I’m a native of Moscow, but I’ve been living in the States since 2005. I have my MA in Philology from Lomonosov Moscow State University, where I specialized in Russian Language & Literature.
It’s been a pleasure teaching Russian for more than 20 years. My teaching experience started at Lomonosov M S University and has continued at University of Lapland and at major language schools in the US and UK. I’ve been teaching both online and in person, individually and in groups. I myself love learning new languages and at different times of my life have explored.
I love learning new languages, and at different times in my life I have explored Greek, Latin, Chinese & Tibetan. I believe that learning languages is very meaningful, as it helps connect different parts of the world and invites people to understand each other’s ways, thoughts & cultures better. In this way languages are a major part of working toward humanity’s ultimate dream of Peace & Harmony on Earth. In my free time I love to study Buddhist philosophy, to meditate, hike, read and watch thought-provoking films. If you’re interested in learning Russian, I look forward to meeting you! Скоро увидимся!
